There are two types of Namek, fighters and healers.</div> <bR> <div> Dende</div> <div> <IMG SRC="5501bf00.jpg" border=0 width="283" height="240" ALT="Grr, I am Dende Sama! Fear my wrath! AH HAHAHAHAA... uh? Popo please take your hand off my arse" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> Dende is a young healer. He is rescued by Krillin and Gohan from Frieza and hangs around with them and Bulma for a while. Dende takes Krillin to Guru. Krillin leaves Dende with Nail and Guru and takes the Dragonball. Quite a while later Dende finds Krillin and they go to the Dragonballs. Krillin, Dende and Gohan take the Dragonballs away from Frieza's ship - and the sleeping Vegeta. Dende summons the eternal dragon, Purunga, and asks for Piccolo's life to be restored and brought to Namek. Vegeta then catches up with them and orders Dende to grant him immortality. Krillin tells Dende to do it. Dende asks for Vegeta's immortality, however the dragon disintegrates before the wish is granted. Frieza then shows up and fights Vegeta, Gohan, Krillin and later Piccolo. Dende lends a hand by using his healing abilities to heal Gohan and Krillin from serious injuries caused by Frieza. After Krillin has seriously injured Vegeta, Dende refuses to heal him. But Nail and the others convince him otherwise. He heals Vegeta, and is killed by Frieza shortly afterwards. Dende's life is restored by Shenron and Guru asks Dende to wish for all the people on Planet Namek except Goku and Frieza to be transported to Planet Earth. Dende makes the wish and they all go to Earth. All the Namek-sei-jins stay at Bulma's place until the Dragonballs can be used. Dende summons the dragon and restroes life to Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu. Then they wish for all the Namek-sei-jins, apart from Piccolo, to be taken to a new planet where they can start a new life. Much later, in the Cell Games Saga Goku goes to their planet to ask if any of them will be the new guardian for Earth. Dende agrees to it and goes back to Kami's Lookout with Goku. He then recreates the Dragonballs which will now be able to grant two wishes. Dende is now the Guardian for Earth. When the Cell Games starts, Dende watches the fight from the Lookout, he wishes that there was more that he could do for them. Once the fight is over Dende heals Gohan and then Android 18. She's a little confused as to what is happening. They tell her that Krillin took care of her after Cell spat her up. Then Gohan blurts out that Krillin has a crush on 18, she gets angry and flies off. Dende then summons Shenron and asks the dragon to revive all those who were killed by Cell, so Trunks comes back to life. Piccolo realises that Goku cannot be brought back by Shenron as this dragon is made from the same as the old Shenron, and Goku has already been revived before. They decide to revive Porunga on Namek because as that is the original dragon, he can revive people as many times as he sees fit. But then Goku speaks to them from Heaven and says that he will stay with King Kai in Heaven. He says that he will be a threat to Earth because all those who've attacked it like Frieza and the Androids have been after him. He says Earth will be better off without him. They agree with Goku. Goku says his goodbyes and tells them all to remember what happens in their lives because when they come to Heaven, he wants to hear about them. Shenron is getting annoyed and demands they make their second wish. Krillin wishes that #17 and #18 become human again, but Shenron can't grant the wish. So then Krillin wishes that their bombs are deactivated and the wish is granted. Yamcha asks Krillin why he wanted #17 wished back to, and he says that he thought that 18 would be happier with 17. #18 then shouts at them saying that they weren't a couple and that #17 was her twin brother. She thanks Krillin and then flies off again. The rest of them leave and Piccolo decides that he will live on Kami's Lookout. We next see Dende in the Buu Saga when Goku teleports everyone tol the Lookout where Piccolo, Krillin, Dende, Popo and Goten and Trunks already are. ChiChi and Bulma ask where Gohan and Vegeta are and Goku has to tell them that they have been killed. ChiChi and Videl are devestated by the loss of Gohan and Bulma at the loss of Vegeta. Goku sends Trunks to go get the Dragon Radar which is still at the Capsule Corp and Goku goes to distract Majin Buu and Babidi. When they get back Goku tells them that he wants to teach a fusion technique that he learnt to Goten and Trunks so that they can fight Majin Buu. Goku teachs them the dance for as long as he can but he soon has to return to Heaven, so Piccolo takes over. Goten and Trunks soon master the fusion and fly off to face Majin Buu, but get beaten up. Piccolo gets angry with them and tells them to master the fusion as Super Saiya-jins.</div> <bR> <div> Nail</div> <div> <IMG SRC="112b0790.jpg" border=0 width="176" height="121" ALT="What a dodgy picture" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"></div> <div> Nail is a fighter who looks similar to Piccolo. He guards Guru and protects him. Nail is willing to sacrifice his life to protect Guru. He runs into Frieza and gets the shit kicked out of him. Nail keeps Frieza busy, knowing that he needs to buy as much time as possible for Krillin and Gohan. Once Nail has nothing left in him he gloats to Frieza that Krillin has probably already summoned the dragon. Frieza flies off leaving Nail to die. Piccolo later finds Nail. Nail convinces Piccolo to fuse with him and they both, in Piccolo's body, go to fight Frieza. </div> <bR> <div> Guru</div> <div> Guru is the eldest Namek and the father of all the Nameks. He is very old and wise and helps Krillin and Gohan awaken sleeping powers within them. Guru dies from the sadness caused by all his people dieing and as he dies, so does the Namek-sei-jin dragon, Porunga, and Namek's Dragonballs. Guru's life is restored by Shenron and King Kai speaks to him, telling him of a wish they would like them to ask Purunga. Guru tells Dende to wish for all the people on Planet Namek except Goku and Frieza to be transported to Earth. The wish is granted and they go to Earth. Shortly afterwards Guru gives the power of the Dragonballs to the next eldest Namek and then dies.</div> <bR> <div> <A HREF="characters.htm" TARGET="_top" TITLE="Characters"><U>Read a different profile</U></A></div> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
