They both learnt all their fighting skills from Master Roshi. Years past and they all got together for a reunion. Although it was not very happy as a Saiyan named Raditz showed up and took Goku's son, Gohan. Piccolo also showed up and teamed up with Goku to stop Raditz. Goku and Piccolo left, leaving Krillin, Bulma and Master Roshi behind. When they caught up with them, Raditz had died and Goku was near death. Goku explained to Krillin that two more Saiyans were on the way to Earth and would reach Earth in one year. Goku then died. Krillin was distraught at the death of his best friend. Piccolo then took off taking Gohan with him with the intention of training him; although Krillin was sure Piccolo was going to eat Gohan. Bulma decided it was Krillin's job to tell Chichi what had happened. Krillin found this difficult, how could he tell Chichi that her husband was dead and her five-year-old son had been taken by a tall, green alien. Later on Kami, the guardian of Earth, called Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Yajirobe to his lookout to receive special training. A year passed and they summoned the eternal dragon and restored Goku to life. The Saiyans had arrived; they could feel their presence. The Earth Special Forces were ready, but they'd have to fight without Goku as it was going to take some time for him to get back. First they were faced with their Saibamen, they defeated them but Yamcha was in lost in the process. The larger Saiyan, Nappa, decided to take over from the fighting. Chiaotzu tried to kill Nappa, but his hard efforts were in vain, Nappa killed him. Tien was enraged, Nappa had killed his best friend, and he went one on one with Nappa. Tien had his arm ripped off, but still he fought on, Nappa killed him. Piccolo and Krillin had a plan, they both split into three and attacked Nappa, but still Nappa remained relatively unharmed. Nappa shot a huge beam at Gohan; Piccolo sacrificed his life to save Gohan's by taking the full force of the beam, Piccolo died shortly after from his injuries. Goku finally made it to Earth, Krillin was glad to see his friend again and warned him of Nappa's power and that he took orders from Vegeta, meaning he must be even stronger. Nappa was confident that he could beat Goku, but when he couldn't he decided to beat up Krillin and Gohan instead. Their lives were saved by Goku's new attack. Krillin watched as Vegeta killed Nappa and feared for Goku. Krillin and Gohan left Goku at his request and headed back to Kame House. On the way Gohan sensed his father was in trouble so they headed back to find that Vegeta had transformed. While Gohan distracted him, Krillin charged up a Destruct-O-Disk to slice off Vegeta's tail. Vegeta heard Krillin behind him and dodged the attack. However, much to everyone's surprise, Yajirobe cut off Vegeta's tail with his sword. Goku gave Krillin the energy he had charged up for the Spirit Bomb and told Krillin to use it on Vegeta. Krillin launched the attack, which Vegeta managed to dodge, but Gohan was able to bounce it back, hitting Vegeta. Krillin grabbed Yajirobe's sword and aimed at Vegeta, he was about to stab him when Goku asked him to spare Vegeta. Krillin couldn't refuse his friend's request and Vegeta crawled into his Saiyan craft and flew away. Goku, Krillin and Gohan were sent to hospital, where Krillin and Gohan quickly recovered health. Using a Namek spacecraft Krillin, Bulma and Gohan took off for Planet Namek; there they could use the Dragonballs to wish back Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Piccolo. Shortly after arriving, they noticed a familiar Saiyan pod shoot across the sky and land somewhere in the distance - it was Vegeta! Also Krillin and Gohan sensed a much stronger force on the planet, much stronger then even Vegeta. Krillin and Gohan did some investigating and discovered the source of the power was Frieza, a powerful opponent they had been warned about. Frieza and his lackeys were terrorizing a Namek village and had already collected four of the Dragonballs. They continued to watch as they threatened the Nameks with their lives. Gohan couldn't handle it when they attacked one of the Namek kids. They grabbed the Namek and promptly scarpered. They headed back to Bulma and learnt the Namek's name was Dende. Bulma, Krillin, Gohan and Dende sat for a while, they explained their situation to Dende, and he knew what he could do to help. Dende and Krillin left Gohan and Bulma and travelled to Guru's place where one of the Dragonballs was kept. They eventually arrived at Guru's. Guru is the oldest Namek, the father of all Nameks and the creator of the Namekian set of Dragonballs. Nail, another Namek, and Guru explained how Guru was dieing and when he would die, the Dragonballs on Namek would cease to exist. Guru gave Krillin his Dragonball and awoke sleeping powers within him. Krillin was now stronger, he left Dende with Nail and Guru and left heading back to Gohan and Bulma. When he arrived back with the Dragonball he learnt that Gohan had left in search of a Dragonball they found on the Dragon Radar nearby. Minutes later Vegeta turned up demanding they hand over the Dragonball. Krillin knew he couldn't beat Vegeta but before he had the chance to fight, Zarbon arrived. Vegeta and Zarbon battled and Vegeta killed him. Vegeta turned back to Krillin. Krillin was not going to let Vegeta have the Dragonball without a fight despite the fact that Krillin wouldn't stand a chance against Vegeta. Vegeta then threatened Bulma's life as well as Krillin's, leaving Krillin with no choice but to hand over the Dragonball. Krillin was willing to risk his own life but not Bulma's. Vegeta left with the Dragonball. Later Gohan came back with a new Dragonball. They left it with Bulma, and Krillin took Gohan to see Guru, then he could awaken Gohan's hidden powers and make him stronger. While Guru was dealing with Gohan, Vegeta turned up, he was mad with anger as Gohan had nicked his last Dragonball. However the situation changed, the Ginyu Force was on their way. Krillin and Gohan had to team up with Vegeta if they were to stand a chance in beating them. Vegeta told Krillin to hand over the last Dragonball, then they could summon the dragon and wish for him to be immortal, then they could beat the Ginyu Force, Vegeta promised he would leave Krillin and Gohan alone. Krillin argued as to why Vegeta should be immortal and not Gohan, Vegeta then went on to say that although Gohan was strong he lacked in fighting experience. Krillin agreed and the three flew off heading for Bulma. Krillin picked up the Dragonball and Vegeta led them to where he had the rest of the Dragonballs. Krillin then refused to give Vegeta his Dragonball. Krillin did not trust him, but then the Ginyu Force arrived. Captain Ginyu took the seven Dragonballs to Frieza leaving Guldo, Burter, Jiece and Racoome to deal with Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan. Guldo began battling Krillin and Gohan using his time freeze attacks. They got caught up in a mind web attack and were about to be speared by a huge pointed stick when Vegeta killed Guldo. Vegeta fought against Racoome and was almost beaten, but Krillin used Tien's Solar Flare trick to stun Racoome, giving Gohan enough time to move Vegeta out of the path of Racoome's attack. Krillin tried to fight Racoome but ended up getting his head kicked in. Gohan went mad and started attacking Racoome. Gohan was still no match for Racoome and ended up getting even more injured than Krillin. Goku arrived on Namek and gave Krillin, Gohan and Vegeta a Sensu Bean. Krillin didn't think it was a good idea to trust Vegeta. Goku fought against Racoome and Burter, Krillin and Gohan left Goku and Vegeta to deal with Captain Ginyu and Jiece. They found where Captain Ginyu had taken the Dragonballs, Krillin recited the words needed to summon the dragon but it didn't work. Goku and Jiece arrived, Krillin was a little suspicious as to why Jiece would join them but it was Gohan who worked out it was not his father. Captain Ginyu was in Goku's body. Vegeta came out of nowhere to fight the cowardly Jiece while Krillin and Gohan dealt with Captain Ginyu. Vegeta killed Jiece and then began to beat up Captain Ginyu. Goku, in Captain Ginyu's injured body made it and a few body swap attack mishaps later, Goku was in his original body and Captain Ginyu was in the body of a frog. Goku's body had taken a serious beating from Vegeta, so Vegeta took them to Frieza's ship. Goku was put in the healing tank and Krillin left Gohan and Vegeta to go and look for Dende. They needed Dende, as he knew the password to activate the Dragonballs. When Krillin found Dende they flew back to Frieza's ship to find Gohan sitting outside, Vegeta was taking a nap. They took the Dragonballs and flew away without waking up Vegeta. Dende summoned the dragon but realised they could not restore Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu and Piccolo in one wish. Meaning one would be left behind. Piccolo spoke telepathically to Gohan, so they used their first wish to restore Piccolo. Their second wish they used to bring Piccolo to Planet Namek. Gohan and Krillin were deciding what to use their last wish on when Vegeta caught up with them. He was well pissed off, he had saved their lives, and given them new armour and this is how they repaid him, by storming off with the Dragonballs, Vegeta was a little angry to say the least. He ordered Dende to wish him to be immortal. Krillin thought a little and then told Dende to grant Vegeta's wish, but Guru died before the wish could be granted. The dragon disintegrated and the Dragonballs turned to stone. It was then that Frieza found them.  Krillin, Vegeta and Gohan would have to deal with Frieza until Goku was fully healed. Frieza transformed after exchanging punches with Vegeta. Krillin got impaled on Frieza's horn was mortally wounded and fell into the lake and did not surface. They feared he was dead. Dende found and healed him. Piccolo showed up and decided to take over from the fighting. Piccolo inevitably got into trouble, which angered Gohan, and he rushed to his aid. Krillin also intended to help, but Vegeta stopped him, telling him to attack him until he was near death, then have Dende heal him. He would be stronger from the defeat. Krillin eventually agrees and shoots a beam which goes right through Vegeta. Dende heals him and Vegeta takes on Frieza, Krillin and the others think that he can win. However Vegeta deosn't manage to hit Frieza and gets beaten up. Goku arrives and manages to kick Frieza. Frieza kills Vegeta, which angers Goku and he takes on Frieza. Krillin lends a hand when Goku forms his Spirit Bomb and fends off Frieza. Goku launches the attack and they all believe that Frieza has been killed. However he actually is still alive and shoots Piccolo. He then turns on Krillin by taking control of his body, lifting him into the air and blowing up his body, killing him. Krillin is later wished to the Earth's Check-in Station at the Spirit Realm and then his life is restored by Purunga. Soon the lives of Tien, Yamcha abd Chiaotzu are restored. Time passes and Krillin finds Gohan swimming in a lake. He talks to him and introduces his girlfriend, Marron. Krillin tells Gohan about a party at Kame House, but Gohan doesn't think he'll be allowed. Krillin and Marron leave and go to Master Roshis. When they get there Bulma, yamcha and Master Roshi wonder who Marron is. Krillin tells them that they are just friends. Marron then starts hitting on Yamcha which annoys Bulma. ChiChi shows up and blames them all for Gohan leaving. Marron pokes fun at ChiChi and she goes mad. Krillin takes Marron into the ocean away from ChiChi, there they meet Gohan and Icarus and tell him that ChiChi is going mad.  Marron tells Krillin to take the blame for Gohan so they go back to the shore. Krillin tells ChiChi it is his fault that Gohan snuck out but ChiChi attacks Gohan. Yamcha, Bulma and Master Roshi all attack Krillin, Marron and Gohan. The Spice Boys show up and Krillin and Gohan realise they have done something to their friends. Piccolo shows up and tells them to go, they eventually do and Krillin and Gohan head towards Kami's Lookout. Marron follows them on Gohan's dragon and tells Krillin she is coming ewith them or she'll stop being his girlfriend. Krillin gives in and lets her come. They stop at Korin's tower and leave Marron with Yajirobe and Korin while Krillin and Gohan go to Kami's Lookout. There they find Garlic Jr and the Spice Boys. Salt and Mustard attack them while Spice and Vinegar hold back Piccolo who is under the influence of the Blackwater Mist. Krillin defends Gohan by taking the force of a load of attacks aimed at Gohan. Krillin passes out briefly due to this injuries. While Gohan and Piccolo fight Krillin tries to sneak up on Garlic Jr and take Kami and Popo back. This doesn't work though because Garlic Jr obviously has some sort of force field. Krillin helps out Gohan in his fight but ends up being bitten by Piccolo. Krillin then emerges again when Piccolo and Gohan fight inside. Krillin kicks Gohan away but they later reveal that him and Piccolo aren't evil. Kami and Popo are set free and go to release the Sacred Water. Krillin fights Vinegar and gets his head kicked in, he falls off the edge of Kami's Lookout, but is rescued by Gohan. Garlic Jr has grown to his larger size and beats up Piccolo, Krillin and Gohan. Krillin Kamehamehas him but it has little effect, he then gets strangled, as does Piccolo. Gohan steps in and blasts a big hole in Garlic Jr, while this is happening the Sacred Water is spreading across Earth. Garlic Jr decides to re-open the Dead Zone. Gohan makes a protective bubble around Krillin, Piccolo and himself, stopping them from being sucked into the Dead Zone. Piccolo tells Gohan to blow up the Makio Star, but he refuses as this would mean letting down the bubble. Piccolo and Krillin leave the bubble and distract Garlic Jr, Gohan blows up the Star and then Garlic Jr shrivels up. He is then sucked into the Dead Zone, which closes up afterwards. Krillin and Marron go shopping, Marron makes Krillin think about marriage. But Krillin doesn't think he is good enough. Turtle tells him to go get this mundo pearl in the ocean and give it to her. Krillin and Gohan go looking for the pearl, but don't come back with anything as the pearl is guarded by some fish. Krillin then decides to let Marron go for some reason, he then finds out that Marron would have married him but it is too late as some bloke with a car takes her to get ice cream. Krillin puts on a brave face and tells everyone that he dumped her. Krillin continues training at Kame House and creates a huge tidal wave with a Kamehameha, but he still doesn't think this is good enough and continues to train more. Later Krillin, Yamcha and Bulma all laugh at Vegeta in his new clothes that Bulma picked, but quickly stop when Vegeta threatens them. Later Krillin senses a strong force and phones Gohan and tells him to get ready for battle. Krillin meets up with Gohan on the way to where Vegeta, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo, Bulma and Puar are. The ship lands a short distance away so they all head towards it, keeping their power levels low so they cannot be detected by scouters. They stop when they sense a new power level which is even higher than Frieza's. Krillin wants to continue, thinking that it might be Goku, Vegeta says they won't go any further until he says so. Moments later he continues towards the ship, followed by the others. They see that the stranger has killed Frieza and King Cold by himself. He tells them to follow him as Goku will be landing in two hours time. They follow him and wait for Goku. Only Bulma and Gohan seem to have much trust in the kid, especially seeing as he won't reveal anything about himself. Bulma and Krillin talk about him and mention that the stranger looks a little like Vegeta. Goku arrives as the kid said and is real suprised to see everyone and wonders how they knew he would land here. They tell Goku that the kid has killed Frieza and King Cold with ease. He asks to speak with Goku in private so they do. The others wonder what they are talking about as they look over every so often and Bulma is sure she heard her name. The kid leaves in his time machine, and Goku returns to group. He says he can't tell what was said. Piccolo then says he heard everything and will tell, but not anything that would endanger Trunks ie the fact that he is Bulma and Vegeta's kid. After learning about what will happen with the Androids they all decide to train. Goku explains where he had been all this time. He says how he escaped Namek and crashed on a planet called Yadrat. He then shows them a new move he has called Instant Transmission. Bulma suggests that they get the Dragonballs and ask Shenron where Dr Gero is now, so they can kill him before he makes the Androids. But Vegeta says they won't have time and Goku thinks that it would be unfair because Gero hasn't done anything wrong yet. They all decide to not do that and Bulma gets angry. Krillin tells Bulma they should go along with what Vegeta and Piccolo say because we don't know what they might do. Krillin flies back to Master Roshi's where he decides he will train. The three years pass and Krillin meets up with Goku, Gohan and Piccolo as they fly to meet the others. Everyone turns up except for Chiaotzu who isn't really strong enough and Vegeta. Bulma is also there with her son. They all think that Yamcha is the father but it turns out to be Vegeta. The others can't sense the Androids Ki and realise that they don't have any. Goku gives Bulma the Senzu Beans to look after. Yajirobe's plane gets shot down, so the others all go to find the Androids. Krillin senses a dieing power, and find Yamcha has been stabbed by #20. He takes Yamcha back to Bulma and heals him with a Senzu Bean. Krillin takes the bag of Senzu Beans and him, Gohan and Yamcha go and find Goku and the others. They find them and Goku is fighting #19. But he gets beat up, Gohan realises that the heart virus is attacking him. #19 starts absorbing all Goku's energy. They try to help but #20 gets in their way. Vegeta then shows up and kicks #19 away. He then transforms into a Super Saiya-jin and easily defeats #19. Krillin is confused because he thought that you had to be like Goku and have a pure heart and stuff to be a Super Saiya-jin. Vegeta explains that his motivation to become a Super Saiya-jin was very different to Goku's. He says that he trained under gravities of over 400 times Earth's gravity. He went to a different planet where a huge electric storm occured and meteours rained down on the surface. He struggled to save himself and his ship and got hit by a huge meteour. At that point Vegeta didn't care about anything anymore, whether he became a Super Saiya-jin or lived and that was when he transformed. Vegeta then faces #20 but he legs it. Vegeta asks for a Senzu Bean and goes after #20. Krillin, Gohan, Tien and Piccolo follow him and split up to try and find #20. Krillin sees Vegeta fire a huge blast down to where they all are, but #20 absorbs it and then vanishes again. They all find #20 and Piccolo beats him up, then the kid from the future appears, saying he hasn't seen these androids before. Bulma turns up in her air car and #20 crashes it and runs off. Bulma says that the android looks like Dr Gero and Vegeta, followed by Trunks, fly off after him. Piccolo tells them that the kid from the future is Trunks and Vegeta's son. Piccolo, Tien and Krillin fly off to find Dr Gero's lab and Gohan takes Bulma, Chibi Trunks and Yajirobe home. The three of them split up and search for the lab. Krillin gets grabbed by dr Gero, but he runs off when he sees Piccolo. Krillin follows him and finds the lab. He raises his power and Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks and Tien meet up with him. They try to open the door and hear that Dr Gero has already activated #17 and #18. Vegeta blasts open the door and they see the three androids. #17 kills #20 and #18 is about to activate #16 when Trunks blows up the lab. but #17, #18 and #16 are unharmed by the attack. #18 then activates #16, and the three of them fly off. Vegeta wants to follow them but Trunks says they have to wait for Goku. Vegeta punches Trunks and flies off. Trunks tells them they have to stop Vegeta and the four of them fly off after him. When they catch up he has been fighting with #18. #17 says that if any of them intefer then he will have to step in. They watch Vegeta fight #18 and she starts beating the crap out of him. She dislocates his arm, Trunks truns Super Saiya-jin and rushes to help him. Piccolo and Tien follow, but Krillin stays put. He watches as Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo and Tien all get knocked out. The Adnroids are about to fly off after Goku when Krillin pleads with them to leave Goku alone, because he is ill and has done nothing to them. The Adnroids ignore Krillin's plee and fly off. Krillin gives everyone a senzu and they are healthy again. Vegeta flies off alone, then Piccolo. Krillin knows where Piccolo is headed and tells them that he is going to see Kami-Sama. He explains that Piccolo wants to fusion with Kami-Sama to become an even stronger Namek. Trunks, Krillin and Tien fly to Goku's house. Tien leaves them half way to find Chiaotzu to continue training. Trunks and Krillin reach Goku's house and they get Goku into the aircar. Gohan joins up with them and Krillin, ChiChi, Trunks, Goku and Yamcha fly to Kame House. Bulma calls them on the way and tells them that someone has found a second time machine. Trunks and Gohan fly off to investigate. They reach Kame House and Gohan and Trunks make it there later. Bulma phones again and tells them to watch the news. Something has attacked Ginger Town, so Trunks goes to investiagte. Krillin follows after him and meets him on the way. They find Piccolo and Cell, but Cell uses Solar Flare and blinds them while he legs it. Vegeta and then Tien arrive too. Piccolo explains what Cell is. Vegeta says he's going to go and train to reach a level beyond Super Saiya-jin. Piccolo and Tien go after Cell while Trunks and Krillin go and find the basement of Dr Gero's lab, where another Cell is growing. They go to the rubble where the lab used to be and find the basement. Inside they find the blueprints for #17, and a Cell growing in a tank. They take the blueprints and completly destroy the lab, and the Cell that is growing. Trunks gives Krillin the blueprints of #17 and tells him to take them to Bulma, because he is going to try and train with Vegeta to supass the Super Saiya-jin level. Krillin leaves the blue prints with Bulma and heads back to Master Roshi's. On the way he runs into Cell, he fights him and Tien and Piccolo turn up. Cell runs off again. Tien, Piccolo and Krillin head back to Master Roshi's. Then and Gohan and Yamcha head off in the plane after Cell. Goku appears in the ship and tells them he is going to take Gohan, Vegeta and Trunks to the Room Spirit and Time (or Hyperbolic Time Chamber as it's called in the dub) and train so they can supass the level of Super Saiya-jin. Goku grabs Gohan and using his Instant Transmission he teleports to where Vegeta and Trunks are. The rest of them can't find Cell and head back to Kame House and wait for him to make a move. #16, #17 and #18 show up on the island and Piccolo goes off with them to fight #17. Krillin, Yamcha and Tien wait behind. They get a call from Bulma and she says that she has invented a device that can deactivate the androids. Krillin goes to meet her and gets the control. She tells him that you have to be within ten metres of the androids for it to work. He tells Bulma that Goku, Gohan, Vegeta and Trunks are training at Kami's Lookout so she flies off there. Krillin goes to find the androids. He evntually finds #18 and #16 hiding on an island from Cell. He decides whether or not to destroy her, and he can't do it because he likes her too much. #18 is confused. Then Cell spots her and absorbs her. He becomes Perfect Cell. Vegeta fights Cell and he gets beaten up, Trunks tells Krillin to take Vegeta away while he fights Cell. Krillin takes Vegeta and when he regains conciousness he gives Vegeta a senzu bean. Vegeta and Krillin go back to where Trunks and Cell are fighting and Cell has gone. Trunks tells them that Cell has given them 10 days to train and then he will fight them all in a tournament. #16 asks for they're help s he wants to fight Cell. They head back to Capsule Corp and Krillin gives #16 to Bulma and Dr Brief to repair. When they hear about where Cell is holding his Cell Games on the TV they train. Krillin spends most of his time with Goku and Gohan. When the day of the Cell Games arrives they all go to the tournament. But Mr Satan wants to fight first, so they let him. Of course he gets thrown out of the ring instantly. They all watch Goku fight Cell next. Cell and Goku are both very evenly matched, even when Cell uses Kamehameha, Tein's multiform, Special Beam Cannon and Kienzan. Then Cell gets bored with the constraints of the tiny ring, so blows it up. Goku and Cell fight some more. Goku fires a hige Kamehameha right at Cell and he blows up. But Cell regenerates himself. Goku then says that he gives up. Everyone is suprised because Goku never gives up. He then says that someone here is stronger than him, so Cell should fight him instead. Goku goes to Gohan and tells him to fight Cell. Gohan says that he doesn't have enough power to defeat Cell and that Goku is still holding back some of his power. Goku says that isn't true, he was using his full power, the only reason Gohan's thinks he's holding back is because Gohan is comparing his power to Goku's. Gohan confirms this. So Gohan steps up to challenge Cell. They fight but Gohan gets beat up. Goku tells Piccolo that he won't help, because Gohan is still holding back and that he'll be fine. But Gohan still doesn't seem to win. Piccolo realises that although Gohan has the strength he doesn't have the fighting will like Goku. Goku realises what he has done. Cell knows that Gohan is holding back his power and tells Gohan to unleash it. Gohan refuses, he tells Cell that if he taps into that power he will destroy Cell, he warns him not to push him other iwse he will regret it. Cell continues to beat up Gohan to try to get him to unleash his power. Android 16 then grabs Cell, he tells him that he has a bomb inside of him that is powerful enough to kill Cell and that he will detonate it. But the bomb doesn't explode, Krillin shouts that Bulma and Dr Brief deactivated the bomb. Cell then blows up Android 16. Then he creates seven Cell Jr's and tells them to fight Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Trunks, Yamcha, Tien and Krillin. The Cell Jr's are really strong and the only ones able to put up any decent defence is Vegeta and Trunks. Cell then tells the Cell Jr's to kill them. Mr Satan throws Android 16's head over to Cell and Gohan. 16 tells Gohan that it is okay to fight for the right cause. Cell then crushes 16's head and kills him. Gohan gets really angry and transforms into Super Saiya-jin 2. Gohan beats the shit out of Cell, and he even spits up Android 18. Cell is even less powerful and becomes Imperfect Cell. Gohan toys with Cell for a while, despite Goku telling Gohan to kill Cell now. Cell then decides that he will explode, the explosion will destroy the whole planet. No one knows what to do, then Goku has an idea. He says goodbye to everyone and uses his Instant Translocation technique to teleport Cell away from Earth. Gohan is really upset with himself as he blames himself for Goku's death. Krillin and the others comfort Gohan. But then Cell reappears and kills Trunks. Cell is complete again and says that he has learned Goku's Instant Translocation. In the explosion only one cell survived, and that was all he needed to regenerate himself. Gohan is ready to attack Cell again, but Vegeta goes mad because Cell killed Trunks and starts blasting him in a mad rage. One he stops Cell is fine, he then knocks Vegeta down. Cell fires to kill Vegeta, when Gohan jumps in the way and takes the blast, saving Vegeta. Gohan manages to survive the blast, but his left arm is badly injured. Cell fires a beam at Gohan, and Gohan counters it with his own, but he deosn't think he has enough strength left to kill Cell. From Heaven Goku tells Gohan he has the power to do it. Piccolo attacks Cell while Gohan is blasting him. Tien, Yamcha, Piccolo and Krillin all keep blasting Cell to help Gohan. Cell keeps knocking them back until they can't help anymore. Then Vegeta blasts Cell from the sky, Cell looks up at Vegeta. Cell is temporarily distracted by Vegeta's suprise attack and Goku tells Gohan that now is the time. Gohan releases a huge amount of energy and overpowers Cell's beam. The beam hits Cell and kills him, this time for good. Gohan then detransforms and falls to the ground exhausted. They congratulate Gohan on his victory, and then Tien, Yamcha and Krillin take Gohan, Trunks and Android 18 to Kami's Lookout to be healed by Dende. They arrive at the Lookout and Piccolo catches them up. Dende heals Gohan and then Android 18. She's a little confused as to what is happening. They tell her that Krillin took care of her after Cell spat her up. Then Gohan blurts out that Krillin has a crush on 18, she gets angry and flies off. Dende then summons Shenron and asks the dragon to revive all those who were killed by Cell, so Trunks comes back to life. Piccolo realises that Goku cannot be brought back by Shenron as this dragon is made from the same as the old Shenron, and Goku has already been revived before. They decide to revive Porunga on Namek because as that is the original dragon, he can revive people as many times as he sees fit. But then Goku speaks to them from Heaven and says that he will stay with King Kai in Heaven. He says that he will be a threat to Earth because all those who've attacked it like Frieza and the Androids have been after him. He says Earth will be better off without him. They agree with Goku. Goku says his goodbyes and tells them all to remember what happens in their lives because when they come to Heaven, he wants to hear about them. Shenron is getting annoyed and demands they make their second wish. Krillin wishes that #17 and #18 are made human again, but the wish cannot be granted. So then Krillin wishes that their bombs are deactivated and the wish is granted. Yamcha asks Krillin why he wanted #17 wished back to, and he says that he thought that 18 would be happier with 17. #18 then shouts at them saying that they weren't a couple and that #17 was her twin brother. She thanks Krillin and then flies off again. Piccolo says that he is going to live on Kami's Lookout and the rest of them fly off home. Later on they all say bye to Trunks as he leaves in the time machine. Seven years later we see that 18 has married Krillin and they have a daughter named Maron. Gohan tells them that Goku is coming back for one whole day and is entering the World Tournament. They both decide that they will enter too. They all meet up with Goku there.  The first tournament is the Junior Division, and Goten and Trunks make it to the final easily. The fight is quite even, but Trunks wins. Next is the main tournament, they all make it to the final 20 by punching a machine that measures their strength. They all hold back their strength, except Vegeta who breaks the machine. Krillin has to fight some big buy, Piccolo has to fight Kaio Shin, Videl has to fight Spopovitch, Goku has to fight Vegeta and Gohan has to fight Kibito. Krillin is first to fight and wins easily. Next to fight is Piccolo and Kaio Shin. But when it is their turn to fight, Piccolo forfeits the match. Videl is next to fight against Spopovitch, she gets badly injured, and doesn't even cause any damage to Spopovitch despite how much she was attacking. After Videl's fight with Spopovitch, Kibito is to fight Gohan. Shin tells Goku and the others to not interfer with what is about to happen. Gohan goes to full power and Spopovitch and Yamo step in and steal his energy, and then run off. Shin tells them all about a wizard named Babidi who is trying to resurrect a monster called Majin Buu. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and Krillin follow Shin to where Spopovitch and Yamo fly off to. They catch up and hide behind a rock and watch what's going on. Spopovitch and Yamu give Babidi and Dabura the energy they collected and then kill them. Dabura goes to where they are watching, kills Kibito and turns Krillin and Piccolo to stone. Later Krillin and Piccolo are returned to normal when Dabura is killed. They find Goten and Trunks and they watch Vegeta fight against Buu, but Trunks steps in when Vegeta starts getting beat up. When Vegeta gains consciousness he tells Trunks that he is proud of him and that he has to take care of his mother, he then knocks Trunks unconscious. Goten gets angry at Vegeta for hurting Trunks, and Vegeta knocks Goten out too. Piccolo talks to Vegeta and takes Goten and Trunks. Piccolo and Krillin fly off and they soon realise that Vegeta planned to kill himself to kill Buu. After the explosion, Piccolo tells Krillin to take Goten and Trunks to the lookout. He does so and later Goku appears with everyone else. ChiChi and Bulma ask where Gohan and Vegeta are and Goku has to tell them that they have been killed. ChiChi and Videl are devestated by the loss of Gohan and Bulma at the loss of Vegeta. Goku sends Trunks to go get the Dragon Radar which is still at the Capsule Corp and Goku goes to distract Majin Buu and Babidi. When they get back Goku tells them that he wants to teach a fusion technique that he learnt to Goten and Trunks so that they can fight Majin Buu. Goku teachs them the dance for as long as he can but he soon has to return to Heaven, so Piccolo takes over. Goten and Trunks soon master the fusion and fly off to face Majin Buu, but get beaten up.
